The following rules apply when using the Playschool

• Children usually start playschool at the beginning of the term in which they are three, for two sessions a week.  Then after a term they can increase the number of sessions according to the number of spaces available.
• Playschool sessions are from 9.00a.m. to 12.00pm.  Children should not be left unattended before 9.00am and they should be collected promptly by a named person.
• There is a registration fee of £20.00.  This enrols the parent as a member of the association (Watton-at-Stone Pre-School Playgroup Association), and the child receives a playschool t-shirt. and bookbag.
• Fees are payable half termly in advance.  As fees are fixed to just cover costs, it is regrettable that they must be paid during a child’s absence.  If your child is absent, through illness, for a long period of time, a refund of session and/or lunch club fees may be given as follows:- an administration fee of six sessions and/or two weeks, whichever is the greater, will be payable from the date of notice to playschool. Should fees fall into arrears, the Playschool reserves the right to remove the child’s name from the register and refuse any subsequent children until the debt is paid.
• If a child is to leave, two weeks’ notice should be given in writing.  A charge for the two weeks will be payable in lieu of notice.  Any money queries, please speak to our administrator.
• No jewellery may be worn at Playschool, as it is dangerous.   Pierced earrings must be removed or covered with a plaster.  If children arrive at Playschool wearing any jewellery we reserve the right to send them home if it is not removed.
• Please do not bring your child into Playschool for at least 24 hours if they have suffered from diarrhoea or vomiting from whatever cause.
• A drink of either milk or water and a snack are provided during the morning.
